DEAD DROP

Privacy briefing

Privacy Policy

Dead Drop is designed to be played without an account, public profile, advertising profile, or social identity.

Effective date: July 26, 2026

Information collected

Dead Drop uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous app and gameplay measurements. These may include app version, device and operating-system information, approximate country or region, session activity, operation and puzzle identifiers, attempts, hints, completion results, and update status.

Dead Drop does not send puzzle answers you type as personal text, your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or an account identity to Analytics.

How information is used

Aggregate measurements help identify overly difficult puzzles, understand how far players progress, monitor operation updates, and present sanitized community Field Reports inside the app.

Storage on your device

Puzzle progress, settings, and performance history are stored locally on your device. Dead Drop currently has no account system or cloud-sync service.

Sharing and advertising

Dead Drop contains no advertising and does not sell personal information. Analytics data is processed using Google Firebase and Google Analytics services for operating and improving the game.

Children

Dead Drop is not directed specifically to children and does not knowingly collect names, contact details, or account profiles from children.

Your choices

Because Dead Drop does not create user accounts, analytics records are not associated with a name or email address. You can remove locally stored game progress by deleting the app from your device.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Dead Drop’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
